Parveen

Parveen  is a senior performing dancer of Labanya with vast experience of performance in India and abroad . Angshuaj is Parveen’s Kathak Guru and she has developed herself as a powerful dancer . Parveen has performed at various International festivals in  China  and Bangladesh . Apart from Kathak parveen is also an exponent of Creative dance and Rabindrik dance . Parveen has performed in several choreographic works released in VCD /DVD to her credit. Parveen was also part of the Labanya team in the best Classical Group dance performance by Labanya at Patiala Winter Festival 2008.

Parveen  is also a trainer and choreographer for Labanya with vast experience of working with children.

Soumi

Soumi is a brilliant Kathak Dancer  and  is one of the principal dancers of Labanya and performed in many  solo, duet  and group performances. Notable among them  are Patiala winter Festival 2008,Abhinaya-2008 Fylfot Forum-Solan Himachal Pradesh ; Shri Brajaraman lalji Maharaj Music Conference-Mathura; Sharodotsav Gail Pata-Uttar Pradesh . The solo Kathak performance at Patila winter Festival 2008 was honored as the best Solo kathak performance at the Festival . Soumi was honored with first position in Kathak solo recital  at  prestigious “Abhinaya-2008” organized by Fylfot Forum-Solan Himachal Pradesh . Soumi was also part of the Labanya team in the best Classical Group dance performance by Labanya at Patiala Winter Festival 2008.

Soumi’s energetic performances are marked by bold Sparkling Nritta i.e pure dance, brilliant Footwork and lively Abhinaya . Soumi started dancing at the age of five under the guidance of Guru Shri Pradipto Niyogi. Now she is carrying forward her dancing career  under the tutelage of Angshuraj. Soumi is also a trainer and choreographer for Labanya with considerable experience of working with children.

Nasreen

Nasreen is a senior performing dancer and choreographer for  Labanya with vast experience of performance in India and abroad .Nasreen got her Kathak training under the tutelage of Anghuraj and she has developed herself as a brilliant matured dancer . Nasreen has performed at various International festivals in  China  and Bangladesh .Nasreen was also part of the Labanya team in the best Classical Group dance performance by Labanya at Patiala Winter Festival 2008.Apart from Kathak Nasreen is also an exponent of bharatnatyam, Creative dance and Rabindrik dance . Nasreen has performed in several choreographic works released in VCD /DVD format .              

 

 

 

Debashri

Debashri was accredited with third position  at Sangeet Prabhakar in Kathak from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad .  She  is a performing dancer of Labanya with vast experience of performance in India and abroad in various dance and music festivals.

                 Labanya dance troupe , which Angshuraj leads from the front ,consist of stunning young dancers who set the stage ablaze with their immaculate performance. Soumi, Nasreen, Debashri, Parveen, Sourangshu, Gayatri, Jyotishka, Tanusree, Bimal, Debjit are part of this young team .We introduce some of them here .

Gayatri

Gayatri  is a senior performing dancer of Labanya with vast experience of performance in India and abroad . Gayatri was accredited as Sangeet Prabhakar in Kathak from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad .  Gayatri has performed at various International festivals in  China  and Bangladesh . Gayatri  is also a trainer and choreographer for Labanya and she loves to work  with children. Gayatri was also part of the Labanya team in the best Classical Group dance performance by Labanya at Patiala Winter Festival 2008.
